THE CCX - THE SPIRIT OF PERFORMANCE

The record-breaking CCX was developed to deliver superior performance - both on the track and on the road. We also wanted to show a clear lineage from its predecessor and avoid following design trends. So we’ve kept the distinctive CC shape and simply enhanced its unique appearance with tighter lines and a more aggressive stance.

The 806 Bhp Koenigsegg engineered and assembled engine delivers unmatched power in terms of its size and weight. At the same time it complies with the toughest emission regulations worldwide. The engine has been built to last and to be driven to the limit.

The award-winning aerodynamic shape of the CCX is one of strength and flowing motion. It is formed to reach ultimate speeds and efficiencies. Every aspect of this machine serves a fundamental purpose, and nothing else. There are no gadgets or unnecessary features on the car, only what is absolutely vital in the name of efficiency and purity.

The cockpit-like semicircular windscreen gives a panoramic forward view, since the a-pillars are much further back compared to more conventional designs. The organically shaped rear hood is a key feature of the CCX and really makes it stand apart from other supercars. The smooth and polished body is gently curved, almost simplistic - a fully integrated design.

The dynamic flow of lines and surfaces continues into the cabin and naturally bind the interior and exterior together. Every detail is refined and the surfaces are clear of unnecessary obstructions. The focal point is the circular main aluminium control panel with its zodiac of multicolour lights and stainless steel buttons.

The spectacular carbon fibre doors open in one elegant motion, freeing themselves from the body and simultaneously swinging upwards and coming to rest at a 90-degree angle. The doors are balanced by gas struts, so a gentle push is enough to lift them. The unique design allows complete access to the car, even in confined areas.

The astounding performance is so much more than simply a list of statistics: we have striven to create an unrivalled driving experience. The improved handling and ride dynamics give the car a tight, controlled feel even at its top speed of over 395 km/h, whilst at the same time offering outstanding comfort on your favourite back country road or driving in city centres.
