CCR - HISTORICAL MODEL NOT IN PRODUCTION
The CCR was an evolution of the CC8S. It was produced between 2004 to 2006. The CCR was produced in 14 examples in total. Compared to the CC8S, The CCR featured an upgraded body design. Larger front splitter. Larger brakes, New larger tires and wheels. Upgraded suspension and a more powerfuel engine with twin compressors, producing an astonishing 806 hp. All in all the CCR had a more racing car like stance and appearance compared to the more elegant CC8S.
The CCR managed to take the Guinness record for the world fastest production car at the Nardo test track in Italy in February 2005. The CCR managed to reach 388 km/h beating the 7 year old Mclaren F1 record. The CCR went on to set records at the Nürburgring and on various tracks.
The CCR is now eligible for official Koenigsegg factory upgrades, where systems like, brakes, engine, clutch, instruments, interior parts, wheels, tires, shock absorbers etc can be upgraded to a more modern standard, but still keep to CCR signature feel and look. Also the cars can come to the factory and receive factory approval and extended warranties.
