Flower Power
The CCXR was the first green Hypercar ever produced, thereby setting a good example for others to follow. The CCXR boasts a highly tuned engine that runs on E85 and E100 Biofuel, as well as normal petrol. Since the ethanol in E85 has a much higher octane rating and internal cooling capacity, the engine can run with higher compression, boost pressure and more spark advance whilst still maintaining the same exhaust temperature. When running on petrol, the 4.7 liter twin-supercharged Koenigsegg engine delivers 806 Bhp. This already-impressive figure rises to an exhilarating 1018 Bhp when the car is run on E85 Biofuel. The CCXR has full flex-fuel capability so any mix of petrol and E85 can be used. The CCXR’s engine management system will simply adjust itself according to the fuel mix present in real time.
For the Record
Voted 2009 Best Performing Green Exotic, duPont Registry, one of the 10 Most Beautiful Cars by Forbes Magazine and chosen for the Power Car Award 2008. The CCXR truly deserves a special place in the history of Hypercars.
Individual Details
This is one of only 5 CCXRs in the United States. It is the only CCXR with Candy Apple Red accents, which look stunning in contrast with the Jet Black bodywork and carbon fiber accents. The car is in as-new condition and is owned by one of just three US car collectors with multiple Koenigsegg cars in their collection. This CCXR only offered for sale in order to make room for a brand new Agera R in the same collection.
